  1. Christmas Like a Lullaby

    Christmas Like a Lullaby

Christmas like a lullaby steals across the land
A breeze upon the waters, rain fall on the sand
We celebrate a baby born from spirit into man
And Christmas like a lullaby steals across the land

It’s morning in Australia; In fact, it’s Christmas day
And Colorado never seemed so very far away

Back where night has fallen and it’s still Christmas Eve
And snow is in the mountains that I always hate to leave
Christmas bells are ringing there’s presents ‘neath the tree
I know that it’s been said before and now I know it’s true
That home is where the heart is and Christmas lives there too

And on this morning Peace on Earth is still your fervent prayer
And I can feel it being whispered softly everywhere
And guns are called to silence and anger called to still
And brotherhood and sisterhood surrounded by goodwill

Christmas like a lullaby steals across the land
A breeze upon the waters, rain fall on the sand
We celebrate a baby aborn from spirit into man
And Christmas like a lullaby steals across the land

  2. The First Noel

    The First Noel

The First Noel, the Angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the East beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

And by the light of that same star
Three Wise men came from country far
To seek for a King was their intent
And to follow the star wherever it went.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

This star drew nigh to the northwest
O’er Bethlehem it took its rest
And there it did both Pause and stay
Right o’er the place where Jesus lay.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then entered in those Wise men three
    Full reverently upon their knee
And offered there in His presence
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord
That hath made Heaven and earth of nought
And with his blood mankind has bought.
    Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel!

  3. Away in a Manger

    Away in a Manger

    Away in a manger,
    No crib for His bed
    The little Lord Jesus
    Laid down His sweet head

The stars in the bright sky
    Looked down where He lay
    The little Lord Jesus
    Asleep on the hay

    The cattle are lowing
    The poor Baby wakes
    But little Lord Jesus
    No crying He makes

    I love Thee, Lord Jesus
    Look down from the sky
    And stay by my side,
    ‘Til morning is nigh.

    Be near me, Lord Jesus,
    I ask Thee to stay
    Close by me forever
    And love me I pray

    Bless all the dear children
    In Thy tender care
    And take us to heaven
    To live with Thee there

  4. The Children of Bethlehem

    The Children of Bethlehem

    The children of Bethlehem,
    One cold winter’s night,
    Were wakened by singing,
    And a heavenly light.
    With whispers and murmurs,
    On pattering feet,
    The children of Bethlehem
    Came into the street.

    The people were sleeping,
    All safely in bed.
    The children heard singing
    In the sky overhead.
They heard, “Peace will be with you,
    Whoever you are.
    Oh, come to the stable
    Come, follow the Star!”

    And the children of Bethlehem,
    That cold winter’s night,
    Came down to the stable;
    They followed the light.
    Now the roosters were crowing,
    At the dawning of day.
    The baby lay sleeping.
    In the manger he lay.

    The children of Bethlehem,
    Came in two by two.
    They came to the manger,
That the Star brought them to.
    They came to the manger,
    Where the sweet Baby lay.
    The children of Bethlehem,
    Showed us the way.

  5. Jingle Bells

    Jingle Bells

    Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O’er the fields where we go
    Laughing all the way
    Bells on bobtails ring
    Making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
    A sleighing song tonight

    Jingle bells
    Jingle bells
    Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

    Jingle bells
    Jingle bells
    Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

    Jingle bells
    Jingle bells
    Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

    Jingle bells
    Jingle bells

  6. White Christmas

    White Christmas

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
    Where the treetops glisten,
    and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

The years have gone by too quickly it seems, I have my own little boy.
And yesterday I gave to him my marvellous little toy
His eyes nearly popped right out of his head and he gave a squeal of glee…
Neither one of us knows just what it is but he loves it just like me.

It still goes zip when it moves and bop when it stops, whirrrrr when it

    Come to Bethlehem that night
Then find no place to born the child
Not a single room was in sight

    In a stable all forlorn

    Mary’s little boy was born

  6. The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

    They know that Santa’s on his way;
He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother’s child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I’m offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you

    (written by Torme/Wells)

  7. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
    Let your heart be light
    From now on,
our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
    Make the Yule-tide gay,
    From now on,
our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,
    Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

    Through the years
    We all will be together,
    If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.

  6. The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

    They know that Santa’s on his way;
He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother’s child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I’m offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you

  7. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
    Let your heart be light
    From now on,
our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
    Make the Yule-tide gay,
    From now on,
our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,
    Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

    Through the years
    We all will be together,
    If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.
