Aspen’s Longtime Parks and Rec Manager, Instrumental in the Development of the John Denver Sanctuary, Retires
After 23 years and hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of open space acquisitions, park development and trail building, Jeff Woods, manager of the city of Aspen’s parks and recreation department, is retiring. The City of Aspen celebrated Woods’ career and Annie Denver’s longtime support of the Sanctuary with a Proclamation of Appreciation of both on June 9th. Read more from The Aspen Times
