John Denver Bust Returns to 1stBank Center
In October 2014, someone stole a bust of John Denver from the 1stBank Center, the original home of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. The bust, which had added a festive flavor to concerts and events at the venue since Denver was inducted in 2011, was never recovered. Louisville artist Dawn Record was commissioned to design a replacement, and the piece has just been delivered to 1stBank Center. Fans can still rub Denver’s head and pose with him for photos!
